Faculty of Law
10 West Road
Cambridge CB3 9DZ
United Kingdom
Foster and Partners 1995
The Law Faculty building was designed by Foster
and Partners, and is described in some detail on their web site.
The building (including two
storeys below ground level) comprises the new Squire Law library, five new auditoria,
seminar rooms, common rooms and administration offices.
The plan, as Foster describes it,
'is in the form of a rectangle cut on the diagonal to respond to the primary circulation
on the site, the form of the History Faculty
and the fine trees on the lawn in front.'
