Michael Webb, in Architecture + Design LA (an
invaluable and inexpensive guide to the city) writes:
The sole compensation for the CRAs
stupidity is this jewel-like cluster of geometric forms, clad in rough-textured red
sandstone, hunkered down amid the office towers. Major art and architecture exhibitions
are presented in skylit galleries leading off the sunken court.

How to visit
One parking option is the cheap
parking lots (from $3 for all day) surrounding the newest addition to the
MOCA, the Geffen Contemporary
building. There is a free shuttle service connecting the MOCA to the
Geffen Contemporary building, and admission for one includes the other.
